Why do some results not match my search?
On Google Maps, each establishment can choose a primary category and secondary categories. When you conduct a search on scrap.io, you are searching for all the establishments that have chosen a category as their primary category, as well as in secondary categories.
Let's say you are searching for "Shoe Stores" in Paris. In your export, you find clothing stores in addition to shoe stores. These clothing stores have chosen "Shoe Store" as a secondary category, which explains their presence in the export.
To solve this, click on the "Filter" option after making your search.
Then, select "Yes" under the "Main Activity Only" filter.
This way, you will only see establishments that have chosen "Shoe Store" as their primary category, eliminating undesirable results from your export.
